[Solved] Tools for managing hundreds and thousands of Microservices

riorio Asks: Tools for managing hundreds and thousands of Microservices
As we move a way from the monolith and into the microservices architecture, I’m looking for advice on the following scenario.

Let’s say we have a big company (e.g. Netflix), with 10,000s of microservices, serverless functions, batch & streaming jobs, etc. And with dozens of R&D teams project and product managers spanning the globe in different time zones.

  1. How do you know if some business logic already exists? How do you make sure the same functionality is not created several times?
  2. How do you easily identify who is the owner of which service? How do you do it automatically and not manually filling excel sheets?
  3. Can you have some automatic dictionary/index of all the projects?
