[Solved] How to switch the Slave Server (Standby Mode) to Normal Mode to PITR in postgres?

Description​

  • I have Two Server (Master and Slave).
  • I have set up the Slave server in such a way that the slave server is delayed 3 days from Master Server.
  • Now I want to start PITR from Slave Server. But the Server is in Standby Mode. (Readonly Mode)
I want to know what are the prerequisite to do PITR on Slave server?

  • In my little mind I think Slave Server should be in Normal mode?

I am new in DBA.

So please help me to get read of this problem.
