[Solved] Dwell time in Wireless Communication

Franc M Asks: Dwell time in Wireless Communication
In wireless communication dwell time is defined as the amount of time a device uses a particular channel. If we take the case of a WiFi AP, how dwell time is calculated. I have following questions also;

(1) Isn’t the AP stays in a channel for ever?

(2) Why AP has to leave a channel?
